Essent - E-commerce Site for Household Essentials

What the project was about.

Essent is an e-commerce platform specializing in household items. This site provides a wide range of products designed to help you organize, clean, and maintain your home. The platform is built using WooCommerce, ensuring a smooth and seamless shopping experience. We aim to be a one-stop shop for all household items, including everything from toilet paper, food, cleaning supplies, furniture, and so much more.

Essent is integrated with VidaXL and uses its API to seamlessly update the products in real-time via a Python script. This saved me a monthly subscription of 250DKK, which really helped with keeping the costs down, as it’s still in the early stages.

Essent is not just an online store; it’s a resource for those passionate about maintaining a well-organized and clean home. With a robust e-commerce infrastructure, real-time inventory management, and a forward-thinking marketing strategy, Essent is well-positioned to grow in the competitive world of home goods e-commerce.
